Testnet V2 (Newton)

Testnet0G Labs isn’t a brand-new testnet — it originally launched in 2024. However, they’ve recently added fresh activities, so you can still interact with it and participate right now.
Imprtant:
0G Labs is entering a new phase with the upcoming launch of Testnet V3 (Galileo), which brings major improvements in architecture and performance. The current Testnet V2 (Newton) will be deprecated once V3 goes live, marking a full transition to the new chain. All development, support, and activity will move to V3, while V2 will have its final snapshot at block 4084400 for reference only. Galileo will also simplify the network by removing the Standard mode and focusing on a single, faster Turbo Network.
Currently, 0G Labs is in Phase 2 (Newton), but soon it will fully migrate to Testnet V3 (Galileo). Until then, there's still some time to interact with V2 and complete activities before the transition.
23.04.2025 UPD: Testnet V3 (Galileo) is live.
- Go to 0g hub and connect your wallet.
- Add 0G chain and fund your wallet with testnet tokens.
- Perform some swaps.
- Head over to the "Ecosystem" section on the 0G Labs site and interact with a few projects that currently support the Newton (V2) testnet. This is a good chance to complete onchain tasks before everything shifts to Galileo.
Go to storagescan, connect your wallet, upload any image, and sign the transaction.
Deploy your contract, for example token.
- Go to the thirdweb, connect your wallet and choose token (see the screenshot).
- Insert all the information and upload logo.
- Choose Newton chain, press "Deploy Now" and sign the transaction.
- Go to coNFT, connect your wallet and choose 0G Newton quests.
- Complete 3 simple quests and claim Conft Mystery Box.
- Go to Zer0, connect your wallet and fund your wallet with testnet tokens.
- Perform some swaps.
- Go to the "Pools" section in the ecosystem, choose any available pool, and deposit some testnet assets.
0g Puzzle Mania

Testnet V3 (Galileo)

TestnetOn April 23, 2025, 0G Labs launched a new version of their testnet, named Galileo.
- Go to the website and add the chain to your wallet.
- Go to the website, connect your Twitter and fund your wallet with testnet tokens. You need to have >10 followers on Twitter.
- Go to Mintair, connect your wallet, choose OG V3 and deploy some contracts.
- Go here, connect your wallet and upload the image. Sign the transaction.
- Go to the zer0, connect your wallet and make some swaps and add assets to the pool.
- Go to 0ghub, connect your wallet and fund your wallet with testnet tokens.
- Head to Swap tab and perform some swaps.
- Visit Ecosystem tab and interact with dApps.
Check back and repeat the activities from time to time.
- Go to the Morkie and connect your wallet.
- Complete simple tasks and mint NFT.
Galxe quests
