OpenSea is a marketplace for NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and a platform to swap tokens. It supports multiple blockchains.
NFTs can be digital art, music, game items, event tickets, or even redeemed for physical goods like sneakers. In these guides, we’ll refer to NFTs simply as “items.”
You can also swap various tokens — from blockchain-native coins to game currencies — directly from your connected wallet. OpenSea uses top liquidity sources and doesn’t take custody of your tokens.
Whether you’re here to buy an item, swap tokens, or explore drops, welcome! You can browse without an account, but to fully use OpenSea, you’ll need to connect or create a wallet.

Much of the positive reception to the new platform is thanks to the invaluable input from users who have helped shape it into something truly meaningful.
The team is actively reading and reviewing messages — including Devin, other leadership members, and contributors across departments. This direct connection with the community is something OpenSea takes seriously, as it’s essential to the platform’s continued growth and improvement.
- Go to the Discord and complete the verification process.
- Then, head to the Channels & Roles section to select your roles — choose "Human" and your preferred language channel.
- Stay active, contribute to discussions, and share your feedback. Consistent engagement can help you become a valued member of the community — and may even make you eligible for future rewards tied to social activity.
Rewards Program

MainnetMint NFTTradingXP farming on OpenSea isn’t new — users have previously earned XP and mystery boxes by trading certain NFTs. But as of May 29, 2025, OpenSea has launched a revamped points system with a more structured rewards experience called Voyages.
Voyages reward users with XP and Treasures for exploring and using new features on OpenSea. There are five rarity tiers of Voyages: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. These appear at different times each week, with higher rarity Voyages offering better XP and more exclusive rewards. Legendary Voyages, often appearing as Shipments, grant unique Treasures that are displayed on your profile.
If you participated in the earlier rewards beta, your previous activity is preserved. Your beta contributions are now represented as your first three Treasures, which reflect:
- Your feedback and engagement;
- XP earned during beta and Wave 1;
- The number of Shipments you completed.
Each of these three Treasures comes in six tiered versions based on your past activity and can be claimed after logging in to the new rewards portal.

- On the right side of your profile page, you’ll see your Treasures. If you joined OpenSea’s rewards program during the beta, your progress has been saved as your first three Treasures, which reflect your feedback, beta & Wave 1 XP, and the number of completed Shipments.
- You can also track your XP progress there.
- Under the Rewards tab, you’ll find available Voyages, along with their rarity, descriptions, and deadlines.
- Complete these quests to earn XP and Treasures — and check back regularly for new ones as they become available.
