Unicity is a decentralized infrastructure designed for autonomous interaction between AI agents. Unlike traditional blockchains that rely on shared ledgers, its architecture is built around peer-to-peer exchange of cryptographic objects. Instead of processing full transaction histories, the system focuses on verifying the uniqueness of assets, which helps avoid the scalability bottlenecks commonly seen in conventional blockchain networks. It also enables a high degree of agent autonomy, allowing software agents to independently discover services, verify counterparties, negotiate terms, and complete settlements without human involvement. Most of the execution logic is handled off-chain, which improves scalability and privacy while still preserving cryptographic proofs of validity. The ecosystem, called AgentSphere, includes a web interface, a crypto wallet, and an SDK for building and managing specialized AI agents across different domains such as finance, commerce, and data exchange.
