About Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET)
What is FET (Fetch.ai)?
FET is the native token of Fetch.ai, a decentralized network enabling autonomous AI agents to perform real-world tasks in areas like supply chains, transportation, DeFi, and smart cities. It is now part of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI)—a collaborative initiative between Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol to build decentralized Artificial Superintelligence.
What Makes FET Unique?
FET powers a framework where autonomous agents—AI-powered digital entities—interact and make economic decisions without centralized control. As part of the ASI alliance, FET contributes to a broader vision of developing ethically aligned, decentralized AI infrastructure capable of self-organization, data sharing, and collaboration at scale.
How Does FET Work?
FET is used to deploy and operate autonomous agents, pay for network services, and access AI-based functionalities. It also supports staking and validation on the Fetch.ai mainnet. Under ASI, FET is expected to become interoperable with the tokens and systems of Ocean and SingularityNET, supporting shared goals in AI, data, and intelligence infrastructure.
What Is FET Used For?
- Payment for AI agent services;
- Accessing and sharing datasets;
- Staking and network validation;
- Governance and future cross-platform utility under ASI.
How to Store FET Safely
FET is available as both an ERC-20 token and on the Fetch.ai mainnet. It can be stored in compatible wallets such as MetaMask (ERC-20), Keplr, Trust Wallet, or Ledger. Make sure you store the correct version based on the blockchain you're using.
